Two opportunities to entertain and amaze Montrose with your tenor/alto/soprano prowess this festive season:
1. This year, as an alternative to the
usual Scout Carol Service we propose to go and sing en-mass in the community.
We will all meet at Montrose Academy at 6pm
on Wednesday 18th December, where we will go over some Christmas songs and then walk
together to a couple of locations in the mid Links including the courtyard of
Dorward House and Fordmill nursing homes.
All Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Explorers and
Leaders are invited to attend as well as the Guide community from Rainbows
through to Leaders. Parents are of course welcome too.
Please wrap up warm and wear waterproofs if
necessary. Don't forget to bring a torch so you can read the words!
The evening will end with refreshments at
Queen Street Scout Hall by 7pm.
Please complete the slip you have been
provided and return to your leader to allow sufficient refreshments to be
provided.
2. Secondly, (and a few days before the above) we have also been asked to sing at Borrowfield's event on Sunday 15th at 6pm, along with all other Scouts and Guides.
